Lower School (K-8) Tuition and Enrollment Schedule Tuition deposit A one-time non-refundable deposit of one month's tuition (one-tenth of the annual tuition) for each student is needed to assure a space in the class. This one-time deposit will be held year to year as long as the student is enrolled in the East Bay Waldorf School. It may be applied toward the last month's tuition and fees of the student's final, fully completed year in the school, but is otherwise non-refundable. The East Bay Waldorf School strives to adhere to the principle that economic and financial considerations should not determine who can or cannot attend the school. In an effort to make the school accessible to children of all economic backgrounds, the school offers financial aid based on demonstrated need through its tuition assistance program. In return, we seek families who are committed to Waldorf education for their children. Reductions in tuition are based on an independent assessment of a family's financial need. Refer to the Financial Aid Process below. Applications for financial aid are available in the school office or by downloading the pdfs below. Please visit www.nais.org/financialaid/SSS to fill out the Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) online. The financial aid application deadline is January 10, 2008. Tax forms must be received by February 15, 2008. Later applications may be considered if funds are still available. Financial aid applications will be processed after a student has completed the application process and has been accepted. Financial Aid Process Tuition payments may be made annually by July 1, semi-annually, or in ten equal installments due on the first of the month, from July through April.
