High School Admissions
Prospective students and their parents/guardians
are invited to a presentation of the curriculum, demonstration classes,
displays of student work, a tour, and a question and answer session at
High School Open House events. Attendance at one high school open house
or information event is required before applying to the high school.
Incoming ninth grade students may visit the high school for one day in
their eighth grade year. Students transferring into grades 9-12 are requested
to visit three days once all application materials have been received.

1 (Parent/Guardian Common Application Form).

Student Visit:
INCOMING GRADE 9: Schedule a student visiting day by calling
Jane Muller, high school secretary, at ext. 2103. Students entering
grade 9 may visit one day after submitting Part I.
TRANSFER STUDENTS: Students entering
grades 10, 11, 12, or grade 9 mid-year will be required to visit
a minimum of three days. (All applications, recommendation forms,
and transcripts are due before the three-day visit.)

Register to take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) in December 2008 or January 2009. See the ISEE Online Guide for testing information, registration forms and deadlines. The ISEE website is www.iseetest.org for registering online.

Submit Part II EBWS Supplemental
Application, a $75 application fee ($50 for siblings), and current
photograph by January 8, 2009. Applications received after this date will be considered
if space is available.

Interview: A personal interview
for students and parents with members of the high school faculty
will be scheduled once the application process is completed and
all paperwork has been submitted.

Decision letters will be
mailed on Monday, March 19, 2009.

Upon acceptance by the school, a completed tuition
contract and payment of one month's tuition
deposit (one-tenth of the annual tuition) will be due in the school office by Friday,
March 27, 2009. The enrollment process is complete upon payment
of tuition deposit, and submission of the completed and signed
tuition contract and enrollment forms.
Students applying after the decision letters
are mailed follow the same process and are enrolled on a rolling
basis, space permitting. For more information contact the Admissions Director.
