This delightful program is a great way for young children to step into a little more independence, while still allowing the parent and child some class time together. To begin, all parents would be present, like parent-child class. After two weeks, we would begin to rotate down to three parents at a time. Children would have to be self toileting for parents to not be present, though self-toileting is not a requirement for entrance into the class. There is also a focus on educating parents about child development and the Waldorf philosophy of the young child. The Bridge class would take place in our main building in the Apple Blossom Preschool classroom, and is taught by the EBWS Preschool Director, Peggy Waterhouse. Teacher Peggy has 30+ years of experience working with young children and their families through Waldorf pedagogy, and is currently the the lead teacher in our 3-Day Preschool program.
This program is a wonderful way to transition for the young child that plans to attend Preschool next fall.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you have more questions, or sign up for one of our very limited spaces into this special program.
