Employment

The East Bay Waldorf School is located on 11 beautiful acres in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. Our site combines the best of two worlds: an idyllic natural setting adjacent to regional parks and wild lands, and within fifteen minutes of the major cultural and urban centers of the San Francisco Bay.

Our school was founded in 1980 and offers a complete K-8 Waldorf education, as well as thriving Early Childhood and Parent Education programs. Our current enrollment is 170 students. We have a highly supportive and involved parent community. Through strong collegial collaboration, grounded in a solid commitment to anthroposophy, the faculty works out of a consensus model. We also offer a full benefits package with additional compensation for experience.

We are seeking the following people to join our faculty/staff for the upcoming school year. Some positions are part-time, and we are open to combining positions within the school where appropriate. Please indicate all subjects you are interested in teaching, and whether you are seeking a full-time or part-time position.

No positions at the moment. Keep checking for updates.

Desired qualifications for all positions include a Bachelors or Masters degree, a Waldorf School Teaching Certification and prior teaching experience. To apply, please mail or email a letter of application and your resume, including three references to:
